The reason the Habs made the playoffs that year, thanks Mr. New Brunswick 🙏🏻

Y’all catch me up… I’m confused about the photo.

Hopefully we get to see red for another 10ish years on that picture

Eddy should’ve been near the center next to Petry.

Fuck, this pains me.
What a wild end to that chapter of Habs lore. I miss so many of those faces.

At the time it seemed so random of a team, it was only in retrospect you got the sense of how so many pieces complemented each other in that run.

Total pro from day one – hope he does well in NJ

My personal favourite Jake Allen memory…The night (morning?) Montreal ended that 1000 yr losing streak in San Jose.
Good luck in Jersey Jake!

Will miss Jake the snake, he stepped up big when Carey got injured and I hope he finds the same success again

Isn’t price technically still on the team?

Deep thanks to Jake for being what he was, a stable influence on a youg team.
Bonne chance, Jake.

Having Byron in b&w is an insult.
The man is still very much with the team!

Who’s the blue tie in the background, Armia? Or Evans?

This was such an underrated TEAM.
Much better than anyone wants to give them credit for. Then and still. It wasnt just the Carey Price show – this team was a force and built very precisely for the type of run they went on.

An unsustainable run under goofy-ass circumstances, with a likely inevitable result, but god damned if it wasn’t a hell of a lot of fun.

Shoutout to my boy Evans at the back! Hope he gets another shot at the cup with us and we take him the whole way.
I really think this run was crucial in suzuki and caufield’s development. At least they had some modicum of success with veterans at their side earlier in their career. Price and Weber pushed their bodies past their limits just to get us to the finals.

It really sucks to see this pic and to know there’s so many players gone from that team…. don’t miss kk tbh but a low of the other guys were soldiers
