People overrating and calling for fitz’s job are a joke. This season was plagued by injuries and things happened that Fitzy couldn’t control. Now that we are in this position he is making great moves to set the devils up for next season
Fitz is terrible. Lindy should still be the coach because ALL of our shortcomings this year have to do with injuries and this clown. And also, hey Devils, stop deleting the comments you don't like.
Only move i didn’t like was the allen, but is he here to be a mentor? I believe Daws is a number one goalie, and yes lindy should of been promoted in offseason to keep burnette. I would like to see more grit in offseason.
Hot take: today wasn't a bad trade deadline for the Devils. They got a return, albeit underwhelming for two UFAs, who could theoretically both be re-signed this summer as UFAs and dumped Vitek's contract, so Fitz can properly fix the goaltending situation this summer. There is also a hole in the lineup on the blueline, which must be addressed this summer. So while this is a step back, there is zero excuse now – add a veteran D-man, finally acquire a #1 goalie at all costs and make sure 2024-25 is a huge rebound year.
Two goalies worse than the ones we had. Hall of Fame stuff !!! Join Ruff. You suck ! This team is worse now thanks. Make a darn hard decision already. You had time to get things done. Three years "harder to play against" was your claim. You lied. And failed !!!! Fire Fitz !!!!!
