This is going to bite them in the butt this year. There is no stability in the forward lines.
I guess the Swedish line is the 2nd and it’s here to stay. So we got:
Suter – Miller – Boeser
Hoglander – Pettersson – Lindholm
Joshua – Blueger – Garland
Di Giuseppe – Aman – Lafferty
Mikheyev (Scratched) and Podkolzin as a call up.
Hopefully that 2nd can start clicking soon or we will get pile drived over and over by a deep forward team like Winnipeg or Dallas or outskilled by teams with 2 fantastic top lines like Colorado, Edmonton and Vegas. At this point I feel we can beat LA or Nashville with a hard fought battle, but I’m not too confident about the rest. lol

I was really hoping for Toffoli… but I trust these guys to make the right call. You need to balance making a push with giving up some important pieces in a few years. I really think with so many teams loading up that we could've used one more piece… but if we head into the playoffs hot I think we DO have what it takes to win regardless of who we face… just tough to know if we'll have everyone perfectly clicking going into game 1. Fingers crossed!
we all remember the trade deadline benning deals when he felt pressured to make deals and ended up with a bunch of players with big contracts and very little talent. Glad we didnt sign anyone that we we felt forced to bring in. Remember the trade deadline is often about the deal you didnt do. Glad they never signed kessel unfortunately hes done we dont need that money on our books
Wtf was that patrick!!! Jesus christ you did literally nothing!!! Matt dumba was traded for a 5th round pick and tampa got a 7th……and toffli for a 2nd and 3rd….even jason zucker went cheap….the whole market was cheap your cheap asshole
They made their big move already, but they should have added some size and toughness on the bottom 6. The forward group is a little small and they're not gonna wear down any of the big D in the western conference in a playoff round. They needed a mean, chippy type player that will be a pain to play against in the playoffs. Oilers added Perry, Boston added Maroon, Avs added Trenin and Duhaime.

Why not say this last week?!!I was like a child waiting to see whats for christmas and being told we are now jewish(absolutely nothing against jewish people).Glad we didnt mortgage more of the future on players that may not be resigned.Disappointed some cheap muscle wasnt added,( you know just to keep them honest).Dont know if anyone noticed but Vegas was really trying to lean on us and if it wasnt for a p.p. goal (and a ref. that didnt completely put away the wistle)it could have gotten really ugly.There are going to be many games like this even before the playoffs and some with ref.s that encourage the rough stuff.Just saying a little size would have been nice.We also managed to embarass a veteran star sniper,that ought to discourage any more from showing up on our doorstep.Not too thrilled,still as always learn from this year and get ready to try again next.
