  1. Dubas over here sitting on ice, with his back blown out after the cheek clapping he got from Hurricanes Gm.

  2. That Hertl trade was Hertl + 2 3rd round picks for a first and an okay prospect.
Vancouver paid a 40 goal scorer + a first + a blue chip prospect + an okay prospect for Lindholm.
    Who got the better deal?
Th Hertl deal would have been a steal without the two 3rd rounders.

  3. I’m very optimistic about Kuznetsov. I think between having resources like Justin Williams, Tripp Tracy (who has been very public and vocal about his past addiction related issues, and develops a great relationship with the guys, and is just all around a wholesome fellow), as well as Dmitry Orlov (kuzy’s bestie), and young Russians like PK who look up to him, and Rod who extracts every drop of juice from his guys, and his own presser today, he should be able to turn this around!

  4. Vegas are setting themselves up for huge failure by giving up their future like that on a yearly basis! Eventually they will run out of picks and have nothing in the system.

  5. So sad this is sports net and Canadians best chance of a cup in 31 years and there’s no talk about oilers in the chat and most of them are Canadian 🤦‍♂️

  6. Cheaters going to cheat, Everyone should be shouting "Cheaters" at VGN, Must be nice paying off the NHL doctors to put your guys on LTIR just before the deadline….

  7. Vlasic is wasting the tail end of his career staying in SJ. His loyalty is admirable, but the cost is not worth it.

  8. As a Montreal fan , we're just glad to

    – have got rid of Allen
    – actually got something decent for him (3rd round)
    – Ended the 3-way goalie nightmare that we had.

    So yeah , positive day.

  9. Hertl gone, labanc walks in free agency, vlasic boughts out! and captain is likely getting traded in the off season.. it’s going to a long rebuilding for the sharks GOOD LUCK

  10. LA doing nothing makes them a big winner if it gets Blake on the first bus out of town. Here’s to the future. 🙏🏻

  11. Sabers are definitely losers at trade deadline. I have a feeling it's gonna pick up or turn into a farm team real soon. Why not 70 years no cup

  12. I hope Rob Blake gets his ass fired! The fact players don’t wanna go to LA is because of him! this fan base deserves better

  13. I rate it:
Jets: A+ addressed all their needs, didn`t give up a thing, just overpaid a bit on Monahan but worth it.
FLA: A+ did add some depth but stay put with a great team together
VGK: A+ no idea how they do it, but they added without giving up anything but picks. Only risk: Will it all work together?
Canes: A; great additions but Kuznetsov is a bit a risk at 3,9m for next season, didn`t pay much for Guentzel
Avs: A -; added a lot to their depth, corrected the Johanssen mistake, but they don`t have an insurance for Georgiev and giving up Byram hurts
BOS, TBL, LAK, DET, Philly: B+; sometimes you just need to stay put and either stand by or go for last minute sales.
EDM: B; Henrique is great, Stecher is good but their D needed an upgrade and they could have needed a 2nd line RW (Tanev & Toffoli deals for example)
NYR: B-; Wennberg was good, Roslovic is a nice depth addition, but they will not be able to replace Chytil and Wheeler.

Flames: C- they had all the important pieces, sold well on Lindholm, but didn`t get a 1st for Tanev and then only got a 2026 1st for Hanifin.

Nucks: D; got Lindholm way to expensive, doesn`t work out and then throw him under the bus by wanting to trade him again but not pulling the trigger. What`s that?

Pens: F I have no idea what the Pens got for Guentzel, not even a 1st unless Canes make it vs. Rangers and FLA into the finals. The prospects they got are not even the top prospects, they won`t matter next year. Dubas ran down the Pens quiet impressively with the EK trade and now he has a demotivated, aging core without any cap space. Congrats!

  14. Aanndd the winner is: Vegas LTIR Knights. Hopefully this time they crossed the line and NHL actually changes LTIR rules somehow.
