Well, I can´t imagine that Ristolainen and Drysdale will return this season so that´s why they made this move. Brings experience and leadership. A bargain for a fourth. Was a part of the Avalanche cup run two years ago. They can´t afford one more injury on D.

But I like it. Fourth round pick is fine when we have so many early ones and sends the message Briere isnât giving up entirely on this squad for a playoff run. Plus like, weâre injured to hell and back. A warm body is a good get.
