This Canucks team is TERRIFYING when they’re like this…

The Vancouver Canucks beat the Vegas Golden Knights, and when they play classic rick Tocchet hockey, they are scary. Quinn Hughes got a nice goal, same with Conor Garland and Phil Di Giuseppe. Elias Pettersson and Elias Lindholm also got themselves on the board with assists, Nils Hoglander and Vasili Podkolzin continue to shine, well done to the boys!

  1. Adin Hill's rebound control is atrocious. Good thing the Canucks capitalized their chances and sealed the game.

  2. Soucy is back to stabilize the back end. Yeah, Podz fit it too playing Tocchet hockey. Lindholm, Mikey and Laffy look lively. 3 goals against in 3 games. Canucks are in playoff mode. No need for loosey goosey Guetzel!

  3. Connor Garland needs to be given his due respect for his resurgence this year as a difference-maker on the Canucks. If we as Canucks fans want the right to judge a player when we feel they are not earning their contract or spot in the lineup, then we also have to recognize when they truly are.

I must admit I had some doubts about Miller's future with the team with some of his blow-ups last year, but I think we all can recognize how he has been giving his all to help turn the franchise around since signing his long-term contract. He has been a real difference-maker for the Canucks in a majority of their games. As for his frustration last year, I simply chalk that up to winners want to win.

Also, for all the Hoglander doubters, see what happens when you have a little patience with our young prospects and provide opportunities for a player to find his game and succeed?

Thanks, Tocchet and the rest of the coaching staff for bringing habits, effort, hockey IQ, fitness, and a winning system back to the Vancouver Canucks hockey franchise!

  4. The nucks need to make a trade to get 1 more solid winger. If we get somebody like kessel then he could make the 4th line 10x more scary with him as the shot they need, and with joshua back the 3rd line would be back together. If we can see petey with big hog with another winger. Then boeser miller and i would like laferty, and the 4th line could have lindholm, kessel, and podkolzin

  5. i didnt doubt what you said after the kings game but vegas have been struggling for a while. So this game isnt the best example for 'theyre back.' Regardless tho happy for the W and its always a good day when oilers lose and canucks win

  6. Well, they faced a depleted Vegas and Kings team, just saying. What counts is playoffs. I'll stick with Vegas as the team to beat…

  7. Let’s see how we do after the jets game, Vegas has sucked a ton lately so may be more of them not playing well as Canucks dominating them.

  8. Garland has always been a beast. When they got Hronick, I new he would solidify the defense and that would be the key for Van. The D was always the problem.

  9. I hope you're correct…. but I need a win streak a few games longer over the upcoming string of playoff teams to convince me
