Danielle teams up with the one and only Brad Leone, host of the hit series, It’s Alive, to catch blue crabs and dig for clams in his home state of Connecticut. For thousands of years crabs and shellfish have been an invaluable food resource, and today they’re a celebrated symbol of this region’s connection to the ocean. From there, Danielle visits Dan Meiser at the incredibly beautiful Stone Acre Farms to gather seasonal vegetables. They put together a celebratory meal using some of the best ingredients that the East Coast has to offer during the summer. #wildandwhole #fueledbynature

I am a big fan of the content Steve has been creating for some time but I his response to the goldshaw farm bear hunting has me very confused. I've been watching content from both you and his new channel since they started. While I'm not here saying I'm some "top fan" I feel like it's pretty gross the way you insulted that mans career and intentions of being a farmer. ESCPECIALLY from someone with your background it seem down right unacceptable.
You made fun of his livestock, dog, and his way of life? All because he thought someone letting dogs loose to tree a bear and shoot it when they've found it on his property? I'd really like some justification for how A that's hunting from your house with your dogs running free over others property. And 2 how he is going about being a farmer "wrong" something you also said.
Crabs are sentient
Brad Leone
my mouth is watering
The crossover I didn't know I needed. Too bad Steve wasn't there. Love to see him and Brad talk shop. Definitely need more Brad content.
The "It's Alive" edit style should go with Brad no matter what show he's on. Guy is so fun to watch.
brad's one of the coolest dudes ever
Crack Crab 'Auw' ☺️
Since when are tomatoes "rich" lol
dam imagine being boiled alive 🤯 but i be lying if i said i didnt want some lmao 🤣
This has got to be the most intense way to catch the humble blue crab. Down in the Chesapeake in VA we throw nets out w some bait and chill. Just pull up the net and see who's eating. A great way to relax. And he's accurate, every culture is represented on the docks. It's so fun! Some ppl do use nets, but they also use bait and we do it w the tides. Not night time.
Brad is the best cooking entertainer.
Forsure brad should get on the meat eater team. He's even perfect on bon apetit. He could legit have his own show.
I have to say I really enjoy all the Meateater content even subjects I am not normally interested in a entertaining and informative . Great Job all around , quality content , video and the hosts and guests are just top notch !
I love to see the difference in how we catch bluecrabs. In florida we set traps in costal rivers but up north they use nets and go out at night. Crazy how just a couple hundred miles the crabbing culture changes so much
Such a good show.
Brad really is the best
Clicked for brad. Didn't for the timid woman… Idk just didn't vibe
Gotta love Brad. I watch all his ba YouTube
Deadhead
I love Brads Energy!!!
Check out my blue crabbing video workingman's Edition on how ans where to net them from a canoe. Cheers
Danielle and Brad in the same video? Yes please. I love that Brad’s crazy personality still shines through the more educational MeatEater content
The perfect crossover doesn't exi… Nevermind. I love this. I love Meateater and I love Bon Appetite. Really hoping to see more of Brad on here in the future
I didn't hear what part of Connecticut where they in? I live in CT and want to start hunting fishing and and just going out there sadly I got no friends or know anyone who knows alot about this I watch videos on stuff like this alot and wish I can live it honestly but ay if ik where they started I may find some peeps who are willing to teach me the ways
is that THE Vinny?
I like this show because they don't caught the awkward and uncomfortable moments Danielle has trying new things. Also like seeing Brad wear a Crooked Creek Holler hat.
Dungeness is the best. Nice try east coast
Brad's wife jealous ducked him after this episodes filming.
Fucking hilarious 😂
Where do you crab in CT?
Awesome he's in CT!
21:45 QUE THE MUSIC
She’s so awesome
She's so drab
Great episode!!
Having clean enough water to see the bottom when it is chest high is a luxury we dont have in Delaware/Maryland 🤣 im jealous there. Our shellfish are pretty fabulous though 😎
I like Brad without the B.A. editing style. It's become overly chaotic and unenjoyable.
His wife looks like she is annoyed all the time LMAO.
Brad looks like he should be a character in Clerks
It’s great to see brad outside of BA after all that corporate greed and change in their crew being broken apart, but for brad he offers so much more from BA.
Don’t stop being the You you Brad.
damn brad did well for himself with the wife, man I gotta be a loser
I’d love to see Brad hunting! His episodes hunting birds were the best!
She's fun to look at
"crabs don't matter because they can live out of water for quite some time" but you started the ep with boiling them alive. Just admit that's a culture thing.
Honestly, are you trying to be completely unentertaining? If that's your goal, you're killing it! Feel free to show just the modicum of emotion on your next show, assuming you do one…
Love when brad does videos on meateater. Awesome combination
