  1. There are so many holes in the Wings' game that have just gone out of control in the last few games. They can't handle a really aggressive forecheck, they struggle to generate scoring chances, and there's just all kinds of fundamental little details that they aren't good at. I don't really care for advanced stats, but they've been saying that there's lots of things the Wings are pretty bad at, and I believe it. How do they put up 17 shots on goal in the second period, then only 5 in the third?

Maybe Berggren can save us tomorrow.

  2. Joe Pavelski – 40 is the new 30…..@39 in this*speedy era* he's ALMOST as effective as any season prior 🤙🏼 Good to see guys playing past 35, its harder to these days

  3. I love that in their last game, Stankoven and Johnston had 9 combined points, then in the next game where dallas scores 6 goals, they're both held without a point. This team is monstrously deep. 6 20 goal scorers already, exactly why I wasn't expecting more trade deadline news for the Stars.

  4. Really looks like any of the current top 3 central teams could go on a nice run come playoff time.
    GJG, GG kraken

  5. This is why I immediately panicked when Larkin got injured. This team is almost always bad without him. This is also why I didn't believe all the hype and why I was mad at every loss, because I know this team isn't good enough to cruise into a playoff spot, especially in such a tight conference.

  6. I kind of threw up in my mouth a little wihen Val scored. Good ole hockey gods rewarding the best of us. Or hopefully they know more than us.

  7. wow i guess i shouldnt have dropped ingram .
now i have no bench .
i have to trust the process .
having to wait until sunday will help me decide who i get because i used all my moves .

hope the players i need are there .
if i played correctly they should be.
    gohabsgo
i also hope that hendrix lapierre and morgan geekie can be my 3 4 c the rest of the way.
all i need is a miracle
i will have to have the music loud on sunday.

  8. The Jets are still in the hunt for 1st in conference never mind division. The biggest game on the slate for Saturday for me is against Vancouver for Points Percentage lead. I like the additions of Monahan, Toffoli and C. miller. I don't think they will hurt the Jets.

  9. I didn't realize the Atlantic was as dire as it is. With the utter dog bowl that is the bottom 3 teams, and If the Wings and Bolts keep slipping, we could be looking at two Metro wild cards

  10. MacKinnon was able to keep his season home pt streak to tie legend Guy Lafleur, just the 2 Gretzky streaks remain. As a hockey fan, anytime you flirt with Gretzky streak and tie a legend, it's awesome

  11. Remember the little aliens from Space Jam and how they took away the skills of the NBA players? That must be what happened to the Wings because they look like they've forgotten how to play hockey now.

  12. Av's win was pathetic, Wild on a back to back having played last night, Duhaime and Dewer get traded, Middleton goes out before puck drop, Foligno's first game back and than the Av's struggled, it should have been a very lopsided game but for some reason the Wild find a way to play well against the Av's… Kind of like how the Wild have owned Mcdavid and the Oilers. Just a weird game, i was expecting the wild to be blown out. If the Av's dont figure it out its going to be a short post season

  13. Ingram dazzling again. I don't know what it is about Arizona and fantastic goalies. Two former Arizona goalies are now Stanley Cup champions, Darcy Kuemper and Adin Hill. The cards bode well for Connor Ingram's future on that front!

  14. Welp I don’t wanna give up on the wings too soon because we didn’t have our usual roster and we have more reinforcements coming but that was not a good sign of things to come if we not only lose to the yotes but 4-0 dont even get a goal and get fairly dominated by one of the worst teams of 2024 gettin me worried if we can hang on to that wildcard spot 🫣

  15. Detroilet fans have been a riot all year. They always have the worst takes. They're always so confident in being wrong. I'm going to laugh when Kane leaves.

  16. I fell asleep during the wings coyote game, woke up at the end of 3rd period in a nightmare. I sleepily yelled to my wife "HOLY SHIT WHAT IS GOING ON WITH OUR TEAM" before falling back asleep only to wake up realizing this is reality.. we got smoked.

  17. Det losing last night was huge. A Caps win followed by a Det loss today puts the Caps into a playoff spot due to games on hand. A phi loss would also put the Islanders into the metro 3 spot and Caps up to wildcard 1. Det would be wildcard 2. TB has no games on hand. NJ and Pit hanging on but not out yet.

  18. Well Wings fans…. our season is over because yzerman thinks the future prospects are worth more than winning and competing right now…..

  19. Dallas had a few lucky bounces and a few huge missed calls. (Too many men twice in the second and a high stick that drew blood). They outshot the ducks for sure, but the scoreboard should have been closer.

  20. As an AVS fan, I have to say Kudos to MN for getting a point. The Wild played really well on a back to back. They Had Their Legs, the WHOLE Game!

  21. The recent losses by Buffalo are more disheartening after seeing both Tampa and Detroit continually lose games… As well as Pittsburgh and New Jersey. They could have gained a ton of ground.
