Formula 1 is the fastest growing sport in the world. Fans from all around the world watch the fastest cars in the world fight each other neck and neck in a 22-race championship. Or, at least that’s what it’s supposed to be. In reality, the last two years have been dominated by one team; Red Bull who’s dominance is breaking almost every record in the sport. So how do they do it? And is it a problem for Formula 1’s business?

👋This is just our first of many F1 videos to come. Couple things I should clarify:

1. Mercedes did indeed win the “Constructors (or team) championship” in 2021, Red Bull won the “drivers championship”. I should’ve clarified the difference between the two. (TY to those that pointed that out)

2. While Red Bull is winning everything on the track, they are doing their very best to lose Off the track 👉 https://twitter.com/SkyNews/status/1765745906194759743?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet

  1. i mean you give one of the best drivers we have ever seen the best car we have ever seen, obviously its not gonna be close

  2. The key missing part is that Adrian Newy the car designer for Redbull has been around when F1 use to run ground effects in past. He has experience that other engineers from other teams didn't have.

  3. That’s not a problem. I would love if he won every race for 5 more seasons to come

  4. Also to note, Jos Verstappen was semi-abusive/straight abusive in pushing Max. There’s a funny clip where Max talks about his father stabbing a mechanic with a fork to Daniel Ricciardo. Max’s whole life has been basically racing, his childhood trauma is kind of a meme in the f1 community.

Seriously, if there was a poster person for living your dream through your child… Jos Verstappen.

  5. Hey search party you should look into the dynasty of the blue devils perhaps one of the only groups in “sports” whose dominance has lasted not just years but decades

  6. 11:20 I was so angry at the 2021 finale (an utter fiasco that sold out the integrity of the sport for the mighty US/Netflix market) that I cancelled my Netflix subscription and haven't gone back. I'm still salty about it. Kudos to Max on his post-2021 success which is not tainted by incompetence.

  7. the problem isnt the regs, or even the car designs/rules.
its just that max is that much better than everyone else. lol.
MJ, Gretzky, Babe Ruth, Max Verstappen.

  8. I love this content, deep dives into the actual dynamics of the sport rather than just reviewing the winners and losers

  9. are you stupid? 7 years of merc domination where they WILL win the race just like this. where is your crying over their dominance
