Such an inconsistent team. I can rant and rant on and on about this team. They are relying on the goalies to stop everything I swear. They aren’t gonna make the playoffs this year but maybe next year 💀. Our defense just lets the offense walk in and score and we are always out shot and we just need to get better at offense and defense. Gotta flip Buchnevich after this one. If the last effort against the Isles wasnt enough evidence this should be the nail in the coffin.
Hopefully they can get a good defensive prospect because that blue line is woefully thin. Leddy is playing way above where he should be on the depth chart, and as much as I loved Krug's tenacity in the Islanders game he's a power play specialist that shouldnt be in a playoff contender's top four at this point in his career. Not to mention, we're paying Faulk to be a traffic cone for god knows how long.
It's high time to get rid of Armstrong. Unfortunately ownership probably drinks the Armstrong kool-aid and doesn't know how many ridiculous moves he has made. Why he ever got Krug I'll never know.
Blues are back into these phases they've gone through this year where they look like a bunch of slugs on the ice. No energy and sometimes downright laziness from Thomas.
