Flyers are the most inconsistent team in NHL history, that is a fact. Thats what you get when you don't have real talent, elite players, finishers, and clutch players.
The Flyers are nothing more than a team of overachievers with a coach that can take average talent and have them playing as PRETENDERS and not CONTENDERS.
I am no fan of the Flyers but Wes McCauley is the worst ref in the NHL, fire him already.

Nice move , you're already short defensemen , Drysdale ( horrible trade because he's injury prone ) & Risto who are probably both gone for the year. Now looks like Seeler is out for awhile & you trade away probably your best defenseman. You don't play Ginnings who had a great game against Florida & play Johnson , a washed up veteran you traded for who played terrible last night. I've been a Cowboy fan since 1965 & was able to celebrate 5 Super Bowls & a Flyer fan since they were bullied & Shero made them into the bullies & celebrated 2 Stanley Cups. Now all that I can say is I'm the fan of 2 terribly dysfunctional franchises !!!!

Torts is, and always has been – a body without a brain. A loudmouth who attempts to overcome the absence of said brain with drivel and wild arm and body flails. Most people that call him the only guy with "guts" or "bravado" are similar simians. Lacking basic synapses.
Remember this is guy who at one time called out players like Crosby, Mac and many many others. I wish someone would put him out of his misery at the dark end of an alley. NHL needs more like Jon Cooper, and less like apes. Thankfully, morons like that are far few and in between and as most sub standard and unfot species go – time and evolution gets rid of them.

McCauley has prejudices against certain teams (Philadelphia Toronto) and as a NHL ref that can't be allowed. Midget Bettman should be fired along with McCauley for allowing this.
Such horrible calls led to goal and goal. Ref was horrible this game and needs to be looked at by the NHL. Flyers NEED a goalie along with this. But no, what the hell was the ref doing that game?
