  1. After the Leaf's thumping by Boston yesterday, I have no hope for the Leafs playoffs. For starters, let's get an awesome goalie!

  2. Thanks for your insights Victoria! I am a little disappointed on the lack of big names, but as you said maybe we need to try something different this year as we move on from Dubas.

  3. Or they need a better goalie. Should have traded for Bs Ullmark. Does Tav have no trade clause? If not, send him packing.

  4. Oh too bad Tavs does have a no trade clause. Horrible. They never should have signed Tyler Bertuzzi, Reaves, or Domi. You dont need big name gritty, fighter types. Just any gritty fighter types from the minors will do.

  5. Sometimes less is more. What I mean by that is that while Toronto didn't make big splashes or "sexy" moves, I think they addressed some needs. I know we've heard it before over and over but it's truly up to the guys in the room to get it done. I do think this is the last dance though and what I mean by that, is that it's the last chance for them to do anything with the current core. Because if they don't get it done or find some success; to be clear, success is winning more than one round and not necessarily a Cup, then changes are coming for real this time. Players will be moved, Keefe probably fired and a complete overhaul.

I believe in the core though, always have. Caps overcame their demons when they won a cup.
    Why not Toronto.
    GLG.

  6. Great to see Scots interested in hockey and the Leafs. You are good, very good. BTW, are you doing this in mirror image?

  7. Hello Victoria, good info on prospects, i wait till see them in NHL .Thanks. As far as trade deadline, most teams do not trade big, they do not want to mess up the team chemistry. Depth needed
So many factors to leaf success, until they find out who play first round, toss up what to expect. Personally hope they start on road, less pressure (win one in visitors building), build momentum
Goalie has got to stand on his head to keep them in every game. Because most teams in playoffs play a tighter defensive game, their speedy players have to change their game also.
Guys like Mathews suffer a bit because of this, specialty teams (powerplay) are where they need to flourish. If the penalties are called like regular season will be a plus. Guys like Domi, Reaves
Bertuzzi should give a bit of protection when needed. Would love to see leafs win cup (my own team comes first) long time coming. May take hell freezing over for this to happen.
    Enjoy your day(night)

  8. Feel like Brad missed out on a lot of better trades where the price wasn't too bad. Underwhelming trade deadline for the leafs

  9. If you're a Leafs fan, with them not winning a championship in 56 years and counting, you deserve to drink in your videos.

  10. Awesome Show Once Again Well They Did Make The D A Little Tougher To Play Against And They Picked Up A Forward To Help Their PK So I Don't Mind The Moves We Got 4 Players And Only One Player From The Marlies Off The Roster So Not Too Bad Go Leafs Go From Way Up North Timmins Ontario Canada 🙂🏒🥅🍁🇨🇦

  11. Brad Treliving did as well as he could considering what he could offer without trading one of the core group or trade away the prospects they have. I have no issues with any moves he made. Tanev wasn't going to win this team a cup and would of cost this summers 1st round pic. Kyle Dumbas left this team in complete shambles , maxed out cap and so many draft pics wasted on rental players. Its going to take more than 1 season to fix the mess he left.

  12. here is the bottom line…skills can only go so far. in or during the regular seasons nobody really touches or plays these highly payed core 4 or 5 players physically..why??? because they bring in revenues.. it all about money now. ive been following the this team for over 40+ yrs. and ive seen everything with this team. The playoffs is a whole different beast. its fast pace and physical and very physical. this is why skills can only them so far because theese core 4 or 5 highly paid players ARE NOT physical. you need to have both. I'm sure you seen a glimpse of it when they played boston. when boston played them physically specially the core 4 or 5 they folded and were no where to be found in the game and boston won the game. I can tell you how the playoffs is going to go. All a team has to do in the playoffs is play the leafs a physical game during the playoffs and its an early exit in the playoff. Im calling it. but if they play skill for skill then leafs will win.
