How is this possible? A one way contract? We just resigned Quick. 3 goalies with one way contracts? So we just waive him again at the end of training camp and send him back down? Assuming no one claims him.

Love the commitment to building a strong team in Hartford that the Drury FO has. It might not be super obvious but having a good AHL squad fosters a winning culture. When guys like Rempe and Edstrom and eventually Othmann come up those guys are more ready to compete because they’re held to a higher standard in Hartford.

Making guaranteed JAG money means something to fringe players. Vesey, Brodz, Louis, a handful of dudes in Hartford.
Happy for him and happy to have him. Even if Garand takes a step forward in his development, I think Domingue would be a great teammate about it.

Great move. Louis is a top tier AHL goalie (2.65 GAA and .910 SV% are both top 20) who can be a steady #3 if needed. Looking like Hartford’s gonna be good again next year!
