Im very disapointed in cole. If you lose your stick , you have to make a judgement call
Is it close enough to grab instantly or too far and abandon it ?
This guys i q is not good. It cost demko a shutout.
Im not being too hard on him. Look at the goal. I believe its oround 15 20 second period.
Wow. Vancouver sure suffocated Vegas. This is due to the fact they are 4 deep down the middle. It’s not the most entertaining run and gun style of hockey, but it is well-structured for playoff-type games. I think this is a sustainable winning formula in the post season. But man oh man, it looks like Vegas is in trouble. When Miller is manhandling 6’-3”/215lb Pietrangelo in front of his own net, and guys like DiGuiseppe are sliding pucks by Hill it should be sending warning bells off in Nevada there. Last year it was Hill that got them there and won them the cup…and right now their GA lately has been nothing short of abysmal. Yikes, at this rate they may not make it. Wouldn’t it be just crazy if Seattle did and Vegas didn’t 😮
Question: Why on God’s green earth is Mikheyev still on the top line? Honestly, and even though it’s been a brief flash in the pan, Podkolzin should have a look up there…heck, they’ve tried Suter, DiGuiseppe, Bains and others so why not Podkolzin right – just seems like a no-brainer to me
Of Note: Guentzel, 29 yrs old, has 22 goals thus far and is looking for a long-term $9M contract. Conversely, Höglander, 23 yrs old, is on a team friendly contract at $1.1M with 19 goals. So yeah, DON’T TRADE HÖGLANDER! Nor Podkolzin for that matter as it looks like his development is coming to fruition.
