The overtime ending power scoring and you guys have to come back out on the ice yeah I know it was uh pretty weird um you know we’re in here celebrating a big win and get called back out there but um you know just happy that we uh

Finished out and got the win still um would have been a sour taste so um you know good finish there guys got it done in the shootout you know you’ve had such a productive scoring start to your time here how does that feel to come in and

Have an impact on the score sheet right away um yeah it’s it’s obviously nice to come in and produce and um you know help the team win games but uh you know win’s the most important thing and um it’s nice to get the first win with the new

Team out of the way so especially against uh such a good team in Edmonton I thought we played a great game um you know you got played really well really well and um yeah just an exciting day this group developed a reputation last year for being able to score score a lot

Of goals I mean what have you just seen the first couple of games just in terms of how they defend um sorry are team yeah um you know I think we got a lot of guys that skate really well and um think the game really well so that that helps a lot

Defensively um you know I think everyone in here plays hard and um plays the right way so uh you know as a new guy coming in I’m just kind of trying to find my spot in the lineup and um you know figure figure my game out um as we

Go here so uh I really liked how we played tonight I thought we um you know made it real tough on their uh top guys over there and um yeah was a win stood out about playing with Rasmus in two games obviously he’s Ultra talented but

Just what stood out with playing him so much be beside um yeah I think just his hockey sense uh he’s such a smart guy he’s always um you know getting open for you in spots or making nice little plays to me so um I’ve really enjoyed playing

With him so far and uh you know hopefully we can keep the good play going you have a lot of familiar faces and friends in this organization now that you have a Sunday off ahead of you who’s helping you transition into Buffalo uh everybody’s been really good

Um um you know obviously the guys that I’ve known before here before getting here have been awesome to me but um you know everybody I just met has been been great as well so um we have a great group of guys here and I just can’t wait

To get to know everyone a little better and um you know blend into the team what did yesterday look like for you just trying to get your bearings and I think you mentioned on Thursday trying to get your life in order a little bit like what was yesterday like just to figure

It all out yeah um you know I still got lots of stuff to get done uh luckily enough my uh my girlfriend’s back in Denver kind of getting stuff sorted so um not too much to worry about but just lots of phone calls um you know talking

To different people and figuring out um what I’m going to do lucky enough that um K is going to let me stay with them for a bit here so um you know don’t go got to worry about that but it’s nice
