  1. they did not do "nothing" on the trade deadline they got Lindholm. work on your players. St Lous beat Bruins with a "less talented team" Believe in yourself Nucks

  2. I dont think they were seriously shopping him unless they could get a significant return. He's just too young and has roo much potential to shop him for a rental.

  3. I'm glad they did nothing at the deadline. They had nothing teams wanted except for pieces they would have been crazy to give up for rentals. What they did do was make moves well before the deadline so that by playoff time, the new guys will have settled in and found their roles. If they'd waited and brought in those guys at deadline time, they might not have been available or been more expensive, but the whiners would have been happy because they "did something at the trade deadline." That's why you don't make fans, myself included, GMs of hockey teams. We react emotionally and don't make decisions based on experience, training and intelligence. They tried to get rid of Poolman's contract because of the stupid way LTIR works (not how you think it does), but teams probably wanted a top prospect and that wasn't happening. They can't just put Poolman on LTIR and instantly get 2.5 in cap space. That's not how it works. They have to max out their cap space and then use what LTIR they're allowed to use. It's not that easy. Tampa and Vegas have done it because they put guys with $7 million cap hits on LTIR, max it out, and then make their moves at the deadline, so that suddenly when their top player is miraculously "healed," they're over the cap, but it doesn't matter. Then again, if a Canadian team tried to do that, they'd get the Canucks and Luongo treatment. Suddenly, there'd be significant punishment handed down.

  4. I was just kinda thinking that maybe that time panarin threw his glove at marchand could make a nice outtro addition. Just a thought.

  5. "I took a dump this morning", Media, "Nice to be able to focus on hockey now that it's passed?"

  6. Even if he doesn’t hit 20 goals next year if he plays like this it’s still a success. He has 20 goal seasons in his future but his kind of game is rare and hard to develop. Looking great so far!
