Kreider’s goal last night puts him 3 shy of 300. It also puts him 1 power play goal behind Leetch for 3rd all-time, and 3 behind Gilbert for 2nd all-time. Meanwhile, Shesty’s 13th shutout moves him into the top 10 all-time, tied with Villemure. Those are obviously some big names in Rangers history.

  1. Kreider’s goal last night also killed any opportunity for Shesterkin to have a chance at his first goal of his career.

He’ll need about 28 goals each year over the next four years or 37 each of next three years to pass Gilbert.

Kreider has a very real chance to be one of the best Rangers ever. They get a cup and his jersey is going up in the rafters for sure.

Honestly it’s insane how many powerplay GOALS Leetch scored when you consider he never had a heavy slap shot

Meanwhile. Get the space ready for 20 to hit the rafters in 8-10 years. It is just a shame. It took so long for him to unlock his full potential because he 100% had the talent to become our first 500 goal scorer

Seems like every other game I hear Sam talk about another Ranger record being broke, or a players previous record is being broke. Pretty neat stuff

Kreider to the rafters. The day he retires I’m retiring my jersey. I’m putting in a frame and hanging it on my wall. If we could just get a Cup, it would be the cherry on top. Have been so close.

So what you’re saying is: it’s time for us to win the fucking Cup?

I’ve seen a lot of Kreider slander on here over the years and it still makes me want to fuckin scream.
