[Paterson] last season with Penguins, Casey DeSmith started 8 straight at one point (4-3-1). He also had a run of four straight starts and a pair of three-game runs. So he’s done this before. As recently as a year ago

We have 8 games at home between now and and March 31st so 3 full weeks for Demko to rest and recover, DeSmith is capable of playing for a long stretch

Not worried. Disc golf has put ice in his veins.

The Av’s game might be rough, but if the boys in front of Desmith can contain McKinnon, they should be able to get through it. They’re going to have to buckle down against the AVs and play a boring game. I think best case the Canucks keep them within a goal, or push it to OT.

The following 4 games Desmith should be able to hold his own.

  4. DeSmith was nice to start the year, and despite some ups and downs, I think he will play fine in the interim.

Hope Demko is back with time to get a few in before playoffs, at the very minimum. Better yet he only misses a couple.

There’s time between games for a reset with our Goalie Whisperer too, so I’m confident DeSmith will do a good job.

… did I just jinx it? Ffff-!
