  1. i like gruden over harkins, i'd like to see poulin get some time on the 3rd line ( Bemstrom hasn't impressed me at all), pusti should only get better. Really missing Doc's energy and forecheck these last games. Ludvig isn't great but he brings something we need. Not sure about poj at this point. We need some of that young blood to finish this season off with some life and energy.

  2. Have to say that they either need to build for Sully's idea of a team game or if they can't get the players to fit, find a new coach. Sully can't seem to adapt well to players who don't perfectly fit into his style.

  3. There'll be some good seats available in Pittsburgh for the rest of the season! Learn about next season… right. Here's what you will find out. They are heading for the bottom of the league.

  4. Jesse Pulijarvi is not the answer! He’s slow and can’t score! What are we doing!? We need a Jason zucker or Phil kessel or kris Kunitz!! These are the type of players we need! Not these guy that are AHL/ NHL level scrubs!

  5. The Pens have had a great run over the past several years of being one of the NHL's best teams, but all teams must rebuild at some point and it is the Pens time to do it.

  6. Honestly that Bunting dude we got for Jake is absolutely terrible!!!! He has a muffin for a shot and is t even half as good as Jake!!!

  7. hopefully shed that graves and jarry contract and bring in a new coach his system doesnt work he should pull a paul maurice and step down if they wont fire him

  8. This was by design. Fenway group. Look no further. When they were bought it quickly became apparent the Pens were a write-off loss

  9. The pens need to sit Carter and play poulin but they won’t. Sully loves old guys that try really hard and can win a faceoff

  10. So many questions. Why has malkin not had a shot on goal in 3 games? I dont mean a goal, i mean a shot on goal. Why is EK passing up shots on the PP? Why is reirdon still on the coaching staff? Has the team stopped listening to sullivan? Why does sullivan play guys like harkins over puljujarvi?

  11. Call more guys up from AHL our current team has no energy or grit. Someone trying to prove themselves will play with more heart!

  12. a brutal pens rebuild in-coming (years).. Crosby needs to decide to be apart of the rebuild or go somewhere else for a chance

  13. So far, not impressed with the Dubas plan. More like Dubious plan. Aside from the obvious knocks, Carter and Ned should haven dealt for something, anything. I imagine both of them would have been interested in chasing a cup this year. I think it’s BS that no GM would want a veteran with face-off skills or a solid back up goalie for depth. Could have fetched a 4th and a 3rd. Now we’re not gonna get anything.

  14. For Bemstrom, it’s kinda refreshing to see a guy on the pens shooting the puck at will. It’s not going in but at least he is attempting to shoot the puck instead of passing.

  15. I think the number one thing Dubas needs to do this summer (other than bring Jake back) is to bring in a player, ANY PLAYER, that will plant themselves in front of the goalie, and not freakin leave that spot. The Pens have been able to generate a ton of actual shots on goal, but if the goalie has a direct, unobstucted look at the puck, we're never going to score enough to win.

  16. You're overthinking this, in my opinion. Sullivan's going to keep playing his boys. Carter's still going to get his 13 minutes a game, Puustinen will get benched if he makes the exact same mistake Letang makes, Puljujärvi will sit (because Sullivan doesn't trust anyone who's not close to retirement, except Harkins… for reasons ), etc., etc. Until I'm proven otherwise, I just don't believe Sullivan will do anything differently. But Sullivan is the coach for life, so what can we do?
