  1. If Erssons confidence is shattered then "being ready to play" doesn't matter. It could be as simple as "we can't get it done without walker and seeler".

  2. The calls sucked in Tampa.. .. refs ruining hockey. They are taking a man’s game and making soft. Possibly a covert effort to embarrass and sabotage Torts ..

  3. The refs are pathetic.Call on Attard was a hold,Video showed he pushed a player a little. Were did you get a hold at assholes.Call on the icing, all 3 players goin for the puck, the player trips over skates, they call a trip. How bout lettin em fukin play, this isnt pee-wee hockey McCauley. The game has softened tremendously, let em fukin play.

  4. Call out the journalism for dragging risto through the mud at the same time as the NHL dragging you through the mud. Torts is the fucking man.

  5. The officiating is simply not been good and isn't consistent. At the teams really want is consistency so they can play the the standard set

  6. The ref was acting like a petulant, petty child. He gave Hathaway 10 minutes for pushing a Tampa player. Seriously? I thought we were watching a hockey game, not the man in stripes revenge show. Torts should deliver the $50g fine in pennies.

  7. Coach we are behind you a hundred percent. You are a legend in this league and the refs and the league itself should be ashamed. This is bush league. Two games and fifty k? Im serious, this is disgusting. Its a disgrace and the league needs to be held accountable. Absolutely unacceptable. We're behind coach one hundred percent. Go flyers. Keep it up i love the tenacity.

  8. Flyers fans are behind you all the way coach. What happened at Tampa was an absolute joke and the league should be ashamed of themselves. You did nothing wrong. Philadelphia supports coach and the flyers to the fullest. Keep up the tenacity. Edit, my dad was getting concerned for coaches blood pressure 😂. I told him to relax and let torts do his thing. He will be alright.

  9. I love his effort, passion, dedication, and enthusiasm, however having a spaz session is contrary to his philosophy regarding change and growth. That kind of expression is misguided and resonates bad energy on the bench, and players often emulate a coach’s attitude.
There’s no question the calls were terrible, but you’ve got to work with that – referees don’t change their mind.
All that said, it’d behoove any official to at least have a brief face to face at the bench no matter how hot and/or disrespectful the coach is. It’s better to admit you blew the call and take the heat at the moment.
But, we don’t know the history of their relationship and perhaps he’s had enough of Tortorella over the years.
