Some people get frustrated with Adams’ slow brewing style, but I find it to be refreshing compared to the big swings and whiffs of the Tim Murray (and sometimes Jason Botterill) era.

The question is what top 6 forward is going to be available during the off season and what 3C is going to be available during the off season. Yes we have Krebs for 3C but we’re still waiting to see if he can break out, and I’d rather be overprepared than gamble on it.

The Sabres need about two top six wingers and a top 1C. Quinn coming back from injury will take care of one top six winger, maybe you hope internal growth will provide another top six winger, but idk where the Sabres get a top 1C.

Is Elliotte insinuating they might need to trade a dman?

I wonder how the organization feels about that Samuelsson contract nowadays?

Or maybe all he means is they need another top 9 C?

For the love of god get at solid two-way center who can play in the top 9 and kill penalties. This has been a need ever since the O’Reilly trade.

God I’m so tired of hearing stuff like this. I’ll believe it when I see it

I’m ok with trading Samuelson if he can only play half of a season .

One of my bigger concerns is that this team seems to have so many guys who struggle unless everything else on the line is perfect. Tage is clearly hurt this year and his play shows it. But somehow that means Tuch and Skinner are incapable of scoring now. Quinn goes down and now Peterka is missing on the ice. Krebs gets put on the 4th line and he doesn’t appear to have developed at all. I realize this is a team sport but it would be cool to have a few guys step up on their own.
