He is a bust..like he was with the Kings and Hurricane after the Rangers…
I think a .82 points per game player in addition to having the most PP goals for the Rocket deserves a few games in the bigs. Pearson can sit for a few.
Then he comes to NHL again & doesnt do anything…again.

The Rangers dumped their bust on the Kings for a 2nd round pick. NY takes that pick and drafts Will Cuylle, and LA gets screwed. Another horrible trade by Rob Blake.🤦😬🤬
He was tearing it up with the Kings AHL team, why didn’t he stick with them? We flipped him for Will Cuylle so no tears here!!
I been mentioning Lias all year long he is a very SMART player.The problem is that he doesn't get HQ ice time and NOBODY is going to produce points if not at least a top 6 player.
You give Lias other smart players and he will shine you give him bottom dwellers with little skill little IQ and he is going to struggle on the third line.
Lias was one of at least 6 last year who played BETTER than Slafkovsky but was sent down to laval while Slafkovsky was treated like a baby and gifted a spot on the team.
Then we have the terrible coaching on the big team "St.louis who gave Gignac no chance to produce and only a couple games while they continue to baby Slafkovsky giving him top ice time and PP time.
Yes Gignac deserves to also play but again management and coach have their baby favorites which means other good players get no real chance to shine.The average hockey fan pays little attention to detail they just look at the score sheet and say WOW so and so scored a goal he played GREAT but a top 6 player will get around 25 shifts a game scoring a goal is ONE shift you can play like a bum the other 24 shifts but all people see is that one goal.
Dudes still a bust at the NHL level. Never be anything.
We keep him in the minors and give him a chance next year at camp. At 25, I don't think, he is waiver exempt.
