They returned the favor. This is exactly how the match in New York on December 11 should have ended, but then Gavy received a hit and in the third period we completely fell apart as a team, and the defeat kick a psychological damage and we fell into a real black hole until the All-Star break. What ultimately dropped Kings from contenders to a team fighting to get through the WC. The price of one mistake.
