Lauzon every game is a highlight reel of making opposing teams hear footsteps all night.

Honestly I’d like to see Lauzon and Carrier as the 2d pairing. Re-sign Carrier for a couple of years, or even just a year like Fabbro. Schenn’s a bust, Barrie’s leaving, I have a lot of time for McDonagh but at this stage for this team I wouldn’t mind him dropping down 5v5 minutes and making it up on the PK if it means more for Lauzon/Carrier. Plus he’d be a great mentor for a Stastny or similar coming up from Milwaukee.

Lauzon is the kind of unexpected success you hope for in every signing that feels a bit sus.

“I dunno, I don’t feel like janky has really earned that contract, but it could go like Lauzon I suppose” and then Janky explodes way beyond expectations.

I don’t understand why the franchise isn’t making a big deal about this. It calls Nashville “Smashville”, so they should lean into this to generate fan interest.

Seriously, the record is not one of the big ones, but most casual fans don’t know that. They should go over the top with this. It would be cheesy for the normal fans, but the general public would eat this up as we get ready for the playoffs. Create a buzz.

I dont think we are going to win the cup this year, but I like our chances more of the whole city can get excited and behind the predators down the stretch run. Bridgestone can be a powerful home field advantage when we are totally into it.
