Aturs Silovs has been recalled from Abbotsford to be the backup to Casey DeSmith, as the Canucks prepare for life without Thatcher Demko. Can DeSmith lock it down? This could be a blessing in disguise it forces them to rest Demko we have a decent cushion on points for the playoffs and it gives us a chance to see if Tolopilo or Silovs can make the jump to backup next year in case we can’t afford to resign DeSmith after Ekman Larsens buyout kicks in.
Hughes – Hronek = Playmaker & Boomer
Cole – Soucy = Shut Down Pair
Zadorov – Juulsen = Super Bash Bros
There’s no room for a $6M slow giraffe taking ill-timed lazy penalties.
Friedman – Myers = Playoff D Depth
