   As a fan, I rather my team be in a playoff position. These celebrations and “extras” are nice but they are way more meaningful if you’re on a winning team. You don’t want this celebration to look like a substitute for a winning playoff-bound team.

   That said; good for Eberle. He’s a good person from what I can tell and has had a good career.

   I’ve followed him for about 10 years since he was in Edmonton. I just love him so much. He deserves the C.
