In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about how the Capitals keep rolling.The Caps are still in it…. At least for now. Get back to me after the West Coast trip because the Jets and Oilers will not be easy and they can’t sleep on the Kraken either.. But for now the Caps are rolling picking up 2 huge points in their win over Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks This comes off a huge win over the Pens on Thursday. Now the Penguins and Blackhawks aren’t exactly two of the best teams in the NHL but it is 4 crucial points in 2 games that the Caps so desperately needed.Caps played a complete 60 minutes. The Capitals saw great play from Hendrix LaPierre, Sgarbossa, Carlson, Ovechkin and Lindgren. Can they keep it going as the team heads out west.

Phillips played good for Hershey last night
It's pretty hard to see this team going anywhere in the playoffs if they even get there but more moves for youth are important for the future. More Rasmus Sandin type signings, please.

Caps have been good finding diamonds in the rough with Miro and Lapierre if none of them had those issue they had they would had been high picks in the draft years
Since the all star break, offense has not been an issue, instead of hoping for two goals a game I’m expecting 3, nice turn around, west coast trip, caps will need scoring even with the hot lindgren in net.
If lingren puts up another clinic In net we need to really think about signing him and trading keumper in the off season
