  1. As of today, March 14th, the Blackhawks have scored 145 goals. Bedard has scored 20 of them and assisted on 31 of them. Bedard has contributed to 51 of the 145 goals. Also, he as played 52 of the 66 games.

  2. I'm sure he will be a dangerous sniper and have a lot of success but he's still a very one dimensional player right now. With the right team around him he could be great but 20 goals at this point puts him tied for 6th on a team like Dallas, a little over hyped if you ask me.

  3. Got to admit, somehow this reminds me exactly of the previous dynasty rebuild, a complete joke of a franchise gets 1+2 stars, and a team is attracted to them. One solid B man for Bedard and who knows, rings don’t come over night 🤷

  4. Just for fun lets pretend Crosby wanted to play out his career but "passing it forward" He was mentored by Mario, so why not pass that knowledge along to Bedard? Crosby to Chicago next yr? LOL OK won't happen but what a story line it would be

  5. Hilarious you all need to change your shorts bcoz he finally did something in the last few months. The cup is his again huh? 🤷🤣🤣🤣

  6. It seems the fate of any new generational player to serve a term with an underachieving team, and to lead them out of the basement. The unfortunate aspect is that these guys try to do too much. Bedard is playing against a level of player he has never encountered. At 18, he is on a steep learning curve. This will take time and patience. His injury is part of the learning curve and he will be better prepared for this, as he will learn to play as a target. I think he has some growing to do (physically), and some skills to be improved. His shot aside, it is his thinking of the game and the playmaking that sets him apart from his peers. He will likely win the Calder even though he missed many games. I like his growth path. He will be better next year and so will the Blackhawks.

  7. He is on the worst team in the league with no support. Sydney Crosby had Mario Lemieux, Ray Whitney, Kunitz and many others that is why he was able to score 103 points in his Rookie season. Pittsburg had a much better goalie than the Blackhawks. Connor Bedard has no one to work with. Honestly, Kurashev is not that great a player. McDavid also has better support like Leon Drystaitle, Robert Nugent-Hopkins, Eberle, Taylor Hall (in his prime). Both of these guys had great support compared to Connor Bedard. In my opinion C. Bedard is better because he is getting these points on his own merit. He consistently faces the toughest defenders of all the opponents he plays against and still manages to score 51 points in 52 games. He would have more points if he didn’t miss 14 games.

  8. Pumped to see talent like this in the league. He's amazing to watch. Best of luck to Chicago, signed: a Wings fan

  9. I hate hype trains, and especially how the mainstream media latches on to young generational talent.
However… Bedard has proved that he is the real deal. He is a teenager playing against professional men, and his team’s roster is a true dumpster fire… and despite that, he is STILL excelling. Bedard has the potential to be the best forward in the NHL across several future seasons, as long as he avoids the potential pitfalls of teenage fame.
