Not really my genre of music, but I gotta say he’s pretty good. Most former professional X turned rappers are pretty bad imo, and just thrive off of their followings. But he’s actually not bad (at least to my “untrained,” hip-hop ear).
Every time my buddies try to play “trap rap,” or “mumble rap,” in my car, I’ll immediately rip out the aux cable within 3 seconds. If a buddy of mine played this, I’d tolerate it and let it play, even if I didn’t know who it was by. Not bad. And I say that as a highly (maybe overly) judgemental jazz guitar major.

Unrelated but why didn’t he get signed anywhere? Looked up his stats and they aren’t bad. 53 NHL games with 7 goals and 17 assists for 24 points. Almost 0.5PPG. Plenty of forwards playing now with worse stats.
