as a habs fan, we need someone bigger than prust tbh. I love prust and what he brings to the table but he's no enforcer…he's not meant to be even though he's forced to be one because he's the only tough guy we got. bergevin should pick up a real heavyweight this summer. it's never been the same since laraque left. we get pushed around too much
i dont know about white. he isn't exactly enforcer material, just a hot head. he's good on faceoffs though. and no I agree watching scott try to play hockey is comical hahaha, not to mention he resigned with the sabres. if we get a goon I think the only one available now is brian mcgrattan. if we go out and get a big power forward i'd love to see MB get brian bickell, although bergevin says he doesn't wanna use free agency too much. guess we'll see what happens this summer
If White is given the opportunity he can become a version of Thornton. He's gritty and tough and that's what the habs need. We have Desharnais Gionta and Gallagher.. Enough small skilled players and more sand paper pleaseee!
haha yes, im looking forward to the draft next week, hopefully we pick up some big guys. im thinking 6'6' Samuel Morin with no. 25 and 6'5' Michael McCarron with one of our 2nd rounders. or we could trade up to get someone better who knows. will be interesting to see what we do.
NESN still the worst biased announcer ever…LOL…but…I admire Boychuk for standing in there and being a man unlike the other Bruins guy that doesnt mind having Chara come to the rescue….when faced with a real challenge…Boychuks pretty ANGRY right now…LOL!!!!!!!
I know it's a 2 way contract. But, I hope Ryan gets a good shot at it in Philly. I think he can produce offensively, and physically really well if given consistent ice time. Habs will miss him next Year with the lack of enforcement they have currently.
