Amazing that people still crap on Eberle. Guy had a bad playoff that year, and went on to be a reliable middle 6 forward for NYI and SEA. I would happily bring the guy back within $2M cap hit.

Ebs is a fan favourite, but let’s face it, he was all but a non factor during playoff runs. I don’t see that changing.

We don't need Eberle bring up Raphael Lavoie he scored 2 goals last night in Henderson & now has a team leading 23 goals for Bakersfield this season. A 6 foot 4 inch rugged & physical right shot right wing who can score is worth the shot seeing if he can be a fit. Eberle isn't anything like this guy so why are we wasting assets now?

Love Ebs as a player, but with the Stecher signing, the Oilers would have to do some Cap gymnastics to make that happen. Even with double-max retention, Ebs' cap hit would be $1.375M. They have $1.035M having sent Holloway down.
Campbell's contract is just too high to trade away. I don't see them sending out a Dman like Kulak or Ceci to free up space because they would have to immediately find another player to plug that hole. Janmark and Ryan would likely get claimed if waived so you would lose some of the depth that you just paid dearly for. The only move left would be to move or waive Connor Brown, but Brown is Jackson's baby…
Maybe 1 more deal, but Ebs is probably too big a cap fish to make happen.

How did Oilers beat some tough teams lately including Boston? Simple. First line should be Drais/McD/Hyman. They produce complicated points.
2nd line should be Henrique/RNH/Kane. Stop putting RNH on the top line. Bad idea. By doing so we lost games. Let's win with proper lines which is proper chemistry.
