  1. Brown's reaction, the team's response, and the fans' lengthy ovation were absolutely beautiful!
It's this kind of thing that makes me proud to be a lifelong Oilers fan. It's not just Gretzky, or McDavid, or the 5 cups in 7 years back when I was a kid. It's the love. The kind that takes guys like Kane and Perry and turns their careers, and their lives around. ❤

  2. I haven't seen a look of relief on a player like that since Anthony Young on the Mets finally got a win after a 26 game losing streak.

  3. The way the crowd cheered for Connor Brown was nothing but wholesome. Such a great moment. He was smiling all over. Great stuff.

  4. We need Jack for the playoffs!!! It's such a tragedy he isn't allowed to call the most important games of the year. Make it happen, sportsnet.

  5. Jack always knows exactly what to say. He's got a way with words. That was an awesome moment for Oiler fans.

  6. I absolutely love Brown, I mean we bring in a guy to score goals and possibly be Mcdavids right hand guy. Instead we got a penalty killing machine, who has bought in to his role as a minute killer and shutdown line. Sure you heard his name all year about not scoring, but it was always from a place of hope. He has been way more then we could have asked for, just in a way we never knew we would get. He is going to be worth every penny in the playoffs, when we need to fend off a lead that our top stars gave us. There are 2 sides to hockey offence and defense, the oilers have had 1 of those for years. We are finally seeing how important the other side can be, Brown is a huge part of that. I literally leapt outta my chair when he scored, it was so well deserved after how defensively sound he has been all year. Hope he can get a couple more before seasons end, but thank you for sacrificing goals for team needs.

  7. He scored goal #7 for the team that night, after almost killing the 2-on-1 by getting in the way of the puck carrier, and did nothing more than exist in a lucky spot. Bloody hell, why is this guy still in the NHL?

  8. I was one of those people that was on brown for not scoring . I am so happy for
him to get a goal!!! And finally get that monkey off his back!! He seemed cursed !!! Good stuff brownie!! Huge night, he’ll remember that one!

  9. Such a happy moment for Connor Brown! 👍❤️🥅🏒🥋🇨🇦He sure is a digger and fighter making lots of great plays helping teammates score.Oilers Nation!✨👍☕️☕️☕️ EDMONTON 🐅 The Avalanche game this Saturday will rock!

  10. Absolutely hate the oilers, but things like this are why I love hockey. Good job Connor Brown, keep up the hard work.
