No they aren't jake wasn't holding the team together. Get rid of karlsson he's the problem
It’s really sad how much Dubas let Geno down, it’s sad to watch what’s happening to him, he’s alone out there
Shouldn't have traded Guentzel. Unnecessary transaction with an underwhelming return. What kind of message does trading your best Winger send to the Core? Because 40 goal scorers grow on trees apparently. Worst transaction I've seen the Penguins make since Jagr… and they didn't have a choice with that one. I just don't see what trading away Jake accomplished apart from ripping the heart and soul out of the team. Maybe this is why Dubas wasn't given free reign in Toronto.. hasn't exactly made Stellar trades so far. Deeply disappointing. Hextall's roster was better and more competitive… how sad is that?🤷♂️
Its over. This really isn't complicated. Get rid of Crosby and get a haul. He won't retire a penguin.
The Pens fate was sealed when they signed Malkin, Letang and Jarry. Doing the same thing expecting different results. This season's motto. Had they not signed those three contracts, they would have had plenty of room to keep Jake and then some.
New Coaching needed.
Malkin , Tang , Smith , Carter , Joseph , Graves need to move on.
Resign Jake.
Bring in new young blood.
Suck for Celebrini ! Forget the playoffs, it's over
FFG is out of Boston. Sully is from Boston. Even if dubus wants Sully gone FFG doesn't. It's not happening and it needs to. Sully must go..
I don't understand why fans are upset about a rebuild, what has this team accomplished since the last championship, not one more playoff series wins and its getting worse every day, eras eventually end, the Crosby Era is over !!!
It'll be interesting to see who dubi can unload this off season. Nieto, Carter (will be gone), smith, maybe accari? Who else can you see him being able to move. That's still only about four spots in the lineup and most of those guys are bottom of the line up.
Harkins as a 13th F on league min or nothing. His effectiveness maxes out at 2-3 game stints.
Gruden seems super hungry, can actually drive to the net and he scored a goal. I’d take Big G
Sullivan straight up refuses to change his approach based on the roster. He leaned on jake, rust, murray when he came on because those were his guys in WB/S. But now he gives those players no grace. In what world does harkins play over Puljujarvi? You know what you have in Carter, sit him, play a young guy. Dont you want to know what you have next yr? Great coaches get fired all the time. The message is no longer being heard. Sullivan's message is stale. Its just time.
It's amazing how hockey illiterate the penguins base is. This was predictable when Dubas was hired! 😂😂😂😂
He has all these guys and maybe some have an OK season u need scoring and doc and pustinen not scoring nearly enough. We have no depth scoring at all
Great episode fellas!
i think the cracks in this team were small fissures starting last season with their inability to hold a lead in the 3rd period. 3rd period out of gas mayb? donno
The common thread since 2018 is Sully. Lots of different players through that time. Not saying the entire team is not listening to him BUT the vast majority are doing their own thing. This loyalty to Sully is unsettling to me. Only my opinion guys.
