Briere over-paid for defenseman but anyone who watched him play knows playoffs means everything to him. Flyers really want to make playoffs. I still think Coots needs to rebound somewhat if Flyers have any chance.
I fear a drop off when new players are added . . . the rest of the team thinks they can take their foot off the gas . . . weirdly when a highly productive player comes back from injury (or is added to the roster) I frequently sense that the rest of the team looses motivation (perhaps they think "ahh great!: this new player will carry us for awhile"). Hopefully with Torts that won't happen . . . I was looking forward to this Cast . . . thanks for the insight . . . I had no idea who these two players were. Now I gotta clue. Look forward to next week! May the hockey gods smile on all of the Islander opponents (except the flyers). . . (BTW I love the fact that you aren't afraid to "call out" main stream media)
Drop the delco hockey accents be a man and stop uploading podcasts that absolutely nobody listens to. Your time would be better spent in the gym to get rid of that quadruple chin
I believe the known character of Johnson is what forced the 4th rounder. Briere knows him well and he checks off more boxes than Dumba even if he doesn’t have any high caliber skills. I really trust Briere’s decision making so far. I can either see what he’s found for or he’ll outright tell you what their doing and back it up. I trust this management.
