NHL Highlights | Bruins vs. Canadiens – March 14, 2024
Danton Heinen opened the scoring in the first period and Jake DeBrusk fired home the game-winner in the opening minute of OT as the Boston Bruins outlasted the Montreal Canadiens 2-1.
Very impressed with this effort. Matheson loses the puck in the corner and then Caufield makes the wrong decision. Stuff like that happens all the time in OT though – everything is a high risk situation. Bruins end it on a 3 on 1. Roy needs to shoot, Penalty killing by Armia, little too aggressive there. Flames on Saturday at the Saddledome.
Bruins fan- Its best we finish second place in the Atlantic and the Eastern conference with home ice advantage in both the Toronto series and eastern conference final. Yes that is my prediction Bruins defeat both Toronto and Florida..will make predictions on the Eastern final against Carolina when we get there.
Freekn Matheson soooo unpatient at times trying to be the hero again. Where the hell was he going all alone against 3 bruins. He forced a support for him and of course he lost the puck and handed a 2 on 1 to Boston. Also that commentator for god sakes how did he get the job. Hockey is wayyy to fast for him. He had to pause describing to catch up over and over cause the play was too fast for his brain. He would be fine for baseball or golf lol.
We NEEDED that win. Typical boneheaded play by Carlo directly leading to Suzuki's goal. Surprising that we got an OT chance so early; more surprising that DeBrusk buried it.
