I've been really hard on Skinner, and on the 2 washington goals, Skinner was terrible. But fair is fair. Skinner made some great saves in this game. And why, because instead of just being stationary on his knees (his usual), Skinner was active, moving, going from standing to knees and back to standing, quickly. You watch other goalies, the good ones, and they are fast and active going from standing to knees very quickly. Now Skinner just needs to be active and fast like that right from the start of the game. I've been saying for a long time, Skinner needs to get active and fast and don't just stay in one spot on his knees all the time, hoping the puck will hit him. Skinner you have to stay active and fast for this team to win the cup. You've been told, now you know. Keep improving and keep up the great work. Now play like that from the start of the game. Maybe there is hope for Skinner after all?

Poor Skinner…. Two outstanding, all world saves, above average save on a bang bang play and gets up staged by Hyman's hat trick and a flukey goal.
This man got to work on letting goals in on 4 shots and 2 goals. Something you really need to work on. That won't cut it in the playoffs.
