The team is a mess, Lyon is not what he was a month. We have a tendency of of destroying goalies. Ned started off good, we rode him to hard on his first season as he was never the same. Husso did well last year rode him to much, he's not what he was. Same story with Lyon. Team is falling apart, if things don't turn around I don't see Kane hanging around for next year. I see him saying screw this I'm going back to Chicago and feed pucks to Bedard all season long.

Why the hell are we saying "we weren't supposed to be here" as an excuse? That should be the rallying cry! We weren't supposed to be here so let's fight and make use of this opportunity. Everyone said we wouldn't make it so let's prove them wrong! Now they're going to have to prove their own fans wrong too if they want to come back from this.
Lalonde has to go. The boys have tuned him out. After loss after loss, the players and the coach are saying the same thing, that the execution isn't there. Then maybe the systems have to change. We could save the season if we get a different coach right now and the boys realize their play on the ice cost a good man his job. I'm not hating on Lalonde, but this is the NHL and if the coach can't keep the team engaged and motivated and playing his systems right, you have to get a new coach. Also, lose those goddamn jersey ads NOW, the curse is real.

Marc Bergevin was GM for 10 years in Montreal. Steve Yzerman came to Detroit in 2019. He still has five more years to correct things. Hope he could land Celebrini this upcoming draft.
