I think I’m going with Quick this year (if you told me that 10 years ago I wouldn’t have believed it). Everyone thought he was cooked, he was unceremoniously sent out of LA last year, but he bounced back and has been awesome this season. He stepped up majorly for us when we needed him to, and earned an extension.

What does everyone else think?

I am thinking it’s gotta be Quick as well. Guy was clutch in net when we absolutely needed him the most. Imagine where we’d be if he also struggled early on this season?

Honorable Mentions in no particular order:

Vinny Trocheck: does everything and more.

Jimmy Vesey: a sick individual with a lot of clutch goals.

Jonny Brodzinski: know he had a poor game yesterday, but damn if he didn’t step up when we lost Chytil for the year.

I’ll probably go with trocheck. Quick is deserving but I’d rather not vote for a short term player

Honestly….I’d likely rank Trocheck 1 and Quick 2.

But because I think he’s going to be traded, I’m voting Lindgren more as a lifetime achievement award for busting his ass for this team. And I want it immortalized in some small way

Quick for me. Aside from his effort on the ice, the way he brought Wheeler’s son to the outdoor game family skate showed me he puts in the effort with his teammates too

Gotta be lindgren pretty much every year. Dude is an absolute warrior.

Went with Lindgren but considered Trocheck.

So many great candidates this season. Quick, the entire Panarin line, Vesey deserves some love too

Quick. He broke my heart in the past but the team owes him so much for how crucial he was

Kappo Kaako. His possession numbers are off the chart!

I went with Panarin. Cutting off the hair and just overall a really strong commitment to coming back and playing hard. But there’s 5 or 6 guys that deserve it this year.

    Great feeling about this bunch.

Lafreniere has had a hell of a breakout season would love to see him or panarin get it or trochek basically anyone on that second line

surprised I’m the first one so far in here

  14. Quick got my vote. Awesome season. Keeping us rolling when Igor struggled. Childhood favorite team. This would be awesome for him and he’s earned it

Can we collectively agree to vote for Benoit Allaire?
