Poor kooch man. Dude plays lights out and he is still going to lose the net to a brick wall. Freddie isn’t human man

If Freddie and Kooch can play even at 90% the rate they’ve played the last few weeks…….. (I will not jinx anything)

Without looking up the actual stats, the math on that gaa doesn’t make sense to me. No way you get a .01 on an average of three integers.

From Mrazek/McElhinney to Mrazek/Ned/Reimer to Freddie/Lyon/Raanta/Lafontaine/Kooch to Freddie/Raanta/Kooch to Freddie/Raanta/Martin/Kooch.
While confidence this season has been less than ideal, I don’t think I’ve ever been more sold on two goalies heading into the playoffs than I have been with genetically modified Freddie and Pyotr. The vibes are immaculate.

Y’all remember when we thought we needed Saros💀

That goal against Calgary didn’t count.

I was downvoted a few games ago for suggesting he’d come back and play well, and that I believe he’ll be the starter in game 1 of the playoffs. I still think so because Rod always favors the veterans in playoffs, but it will be a tough call to make between him and PK. At the least, I’m glad we’re rolling into the playoffs with such solid options.

289 wins in 488 games.
He needs 11 more wins in his next 40 games to be the fastest goalie to 300 wins (300 wins in <528 games).
That means he could go 11-28 in his next 40 and still break the record.

This Freddie/Kooch pairing we got going is honestly so fucking hype inducing. Kooch in particular has been playing awesome and with the selection of older more experienced goalies he’s being playing with and learning from, he’s on track to an even bigger badder beast than he already is

From wondering if we’re going to have a good goalie to having 3 if not 4 good goalies……. happy to have this problem now….
