The St. Louis Blues and Detroit Red Wings have made a trade, swapping forwards Jacob De La Rose and Robby Fabbri. Interesting action in the world of NHL trades and NHL trade rumours, as Fabbri is finally dealt, albeit for a piece that not too many people would describe as a viable return.

What a steal
I Wish best of luck to Fabbri and I hope he does well in Detroit. But anyways LETS GO BLUES
I think it's good trade. Fabbri has been unable to remain healthy. When he is playing, however, he's great. But, he has problems playing a full 82 game season. De La Rose has had his fair share of injuries (and some people don't know this, but we Habs fans have heard that he had a heart attack, not too long ago), which of course, is not good. BUT, I think De La Rose has a lot to offer. I think St. Louis is the perfect team for him. Detroit wasn't working for him, so I think he can bounce back with The Blues. It's a good depth piece. Same for Fabbri, in Detroit.
I think its a even for both sides, st louis get a guy who will make an impact in the bottom 6. And for detroit I see it as a gamble he either is decent productively (which would be a steal) or does not work out and stays in that bottom 6 for the future. We will see what happens as time goes on.

De la rose pretty much does nothing. Idk if it’s the Detroit coaching staff, but he’s one of the worst penalty killers I’ve seen. He does nothing special at all. The wings have enough guys like that on their roster. Steal for Detroit but might be effective on the blues
for all these people thinking this is a steal for Detroit….just go look at how many games Fabbri has played. LOL you're welcome. This was a steal for the Blues.
We will just see how the chemistry for each player works for them on different teams now. Honestly I feel like both will do really good. Fabbari is great just easily injured. But good luck to him!
Great Trade for the Wings. Fabbri and Bertuzzi played together with the Guelph Storm had great chemistry and are close friends. Went to the Memorial Cup final together. Great move Stevie !!!!

I heard fabbri was always stoned at the practices. Maybe he was causing problems… being too much a partier not focusing on puck? They probably made the trade just to keep him sway from everyone on the blues lol
