seems like Canes fans get their buttons pushed very easily by FL fans, and vice versa. This is a good rivalry, I just wish people didn’t get so damn vitriolic and obsessive in receiving/giving chirps

It’s not so much bragging about a sweep, because I expect that. It’s the the “Canes couldn’t score”, “Canes were trash”, “no conference final wins”, etc. from a team that a) only scored 4 more than we did, b) needed two OT games and very nearly a third to beat us with two $7m wingers injured and another winger just back from a big injury, and c) had recently been swept themselves.
Even with the extra scoring talent they had available, Florida was completely reliant on Bobrovsky and cared more about starting scrums after every whistle than they did about playing the game. It wasn’t exactly a hockey masterclass.
