“Winnipeg’s 11-9-1 stretch since that Boston game has revealed some of the underlying issues, even if Bowness won’t reveal them.”

Breaking news! Team with winning record struggles to win even harder.

  2. Is it a fluctuation of new members? Or is it OLD habits die hard?

Join the team, BE defensively responsible. Some do . . .

Combination of over playing our goalie and under playing arguably our biggest offensive threat in order to prioritize the most 1 dimensional player on the team? Not even remotely a Connor hater, but he is not even close to as well rounded a player as Ehlers.

Why would he? If there is a “performance “ issue, why would he tell the opposition?

If there is a sickness or injury issue, why would he tell the opposition?

    Come on….

    > “A general malaise, possibly knee flu.”

To revive a dead meme from 5 years back.

    Diarrhea.

(Or maybe other teams scouting us and learning how to beat our system and us being unable to adapt.)

82 game season 2 games in hand on the 2 in front of us, We’re fine, Anything can happen in the playoffs and no matter what you have too get through 4 NHL teams to get that most prized trophy so if they have the juice they’ll earn it whether we play against Dallas/Colorado/Oilers/Vegas/Kings etc. The boys can contend when in prime form, I’m thankful to make the playoffs 16 other teams aren’t so lucky so overall Go Jets go!

Didn’t read the article but he absolutely has revealed it. Bones said they’re sick as hell and it’s the worst he’s ever seen and he’s like the longest coaching dude in the league.

Idk about anyone else but if it’s the flu I had recently then I don’t know how they’re even getting on the ice.

As others have said, this flu going around (seemingly hitting all of Winnipeg pretty hard, not just the team) is BAD. It’s gonna take people out of their own heads and out of pace. If they’re going through the stuff we all are (myself, and my family included) I couldn’t even stand up for more then 2 minutes without getting light headed and almost passing out. Let alone think about and play a physical, high pace game well.

The flu sucks. Not sure how long it takes to run its course through an entire team but it looks like it hit the team around the time of the 1st Van game Feb 17 so hopefully it’s just about done. It’s been just shy a month.

  11. Earlier on, I said winning the division was key to success, so you could play the Blues, or Wild or something in the first round and avoid Colorado and Dallas. I certainly wouldn’t want to play Dallas on the road to start, but other than that, Vegas and red rot Nashville are the WCs, so from all 8 teams making it, there are NO easy outs.

Whole team has been shitting and puking for a month.

If Vilardi’s enlarged spleen is because of Mono, it is a safe bet that they have a possible Mono outbreak in the dressing room.
