  1. I don't really care for the goalie taunts when a team's getting hammered. That said, Go Jets!

  2. Excellent thumbnail.

    Watching Simpsons with my kid.
“That summer wind… came blowing in… from across the sea.”

  3. I know it was the circumstances being a 5-0, on the 1st half of a back-to-back game, resting key players late, but it was nice to see Turcotte not get put on the shelf in the 3rd, i feel he's played very well, smart player, offence isn't hitting right yet, but he impacts the game when he's on the ice, it kinda frustrates me when Hiller shelves him in the 3rd, because it generally isn't warranted due to his play, just seems the coach has a preference in those situations, and he's not it

  4. Bedard is the only reason to tune into a hawks game these days. They in for some BAD defense here for the next couple years. That defense on the 3rd goal was beyond abysmal

  5. I was going to make a joke in the preview video about "well, the Kings let you put that to bed early" but I made that joke LAST year about a game they jumped on top of STL 5-0 and you got on my case for it when the Blues wound up taking it to OT….

  6. Don't stop saying deckle, please. I live in the south, barely, where why use one syllable when 2 or 3 will do. We all may speak English but the differences are always interesting and often entertaining.
An example, stolen admiringly. New Yorkers and Canadians speak exactly the same way but in reverse order.
    NY: Eh, I'm walking here.
    Canadian: I'm walking here, eh.

  7. The Kings took a while to settle into "let's just go home" mode there, but I think they absolutely took their foot off the gas between the 2nd and 3rd. But, yeah, the Hawks played like they'd had their St. Paddy's day celebrations that afternoon, some of the worst team D you'll see in a pro game. Just godawful.

  8. I remember back in autumn when the Ducks had a run of Wins, I wondered if they could push for a wildcard spot. Obviously I know my hockey 😂

  9. I think this might've been the only game night this entire season that I didn't watch any hockey at all, and I don't think I could've chosen a better night for it.

  10. When I turned in it was 2-0 Jets and both goals came off deflections (a superb tip-in, and Schmidt’s PPG pinballed off two Ducks’ skates)

I was a little worried Anaheim might tie it up afterward. Thanks for setting me straight; tell me again about how the NHL needs more expansion when there’s about four AHL teams (barely) in the NHL as it is? 🤨

  11. What a rough stretch of games for my Ducks, from the Stars game to the Jets game. Feels like they gave up trying and are just getting through the schedule.

  12. Jets Fanatic: Anaheim is suffering through a multitude of injuries and depth is being tested, HARD. They just cleaned out a few good players at the trade deadline. Last night was the 2nd in back to back and the night before last they played Minnesota, who, for the uninformed, play a heavy game with plenty of hard physicality. Any other outcome for me, would be shock and surprise. Credit the Ducks for playing with Winnipeg for the most part through 40 minutes, but came up with nothing left in the tank (understandably) in the third.
