Let me know what you expect from the Blues this off-season
My,oh,my–what do i say about the Blues? Yes,the top question with the Blues is whether or not they can retain Alex Pietrangelo—unless they free up quite a bit of Cap Space,I don't see AP staying in STL–my friends in St. Louis all feel like he's already gone—Vince Dunn should be resigned with the cap space they already have and i just don't see them bringing Troy Brouwer back,what with Kyrou,Sanford and Thomas all about to emerge in a major way with expanded roles on the team–having traded away Jake Allen to the Habs,the Blues are gambling heavily on a return to form for Jordan Binnington..looks like Ville Husso is the backup for the moment,unless the Blues find a way to get one of the many goalies available,BUT,again,very little cap space to work with,so,probably not. The Blues may fall back a bit but they will still be a top 8 team next season and make the playoffs.
Well….we're kinda boned. Justin Faulk was a unnecessary add. Blues will be demonstrably worse without Pietrangelo. The team is set up to compete now…..and without Petro, that window is shut
