  1. Lets see what happens in the playoffs. If he plays well and doesnt want 6-7mil then we'll get a bulk return. If hes going to be this selfish then he has to put up more then hughes. Its also worth noting when hes not on the same line with hughes, his play is not worth 6-8mil

  2. If Pettersson pans out, I'd risk letting Hronek go to offer sheets. Either someone gives him something the Canucks can't match and we get compensated, or they offer him a deal that we can match. I don't see how this can go wrong.

  3. Anybody else remember carter who played with the twins wanted 5 million a season ..got traded and never got anywhere those points again in his Career

  4. bro is trying to leave the sinking ship lol

can't blame he wants to actually win, no chance of that in vancouver

  5. Huggy, Brock Star, and Milsy all signed in the flat cap era and they were more than enough for those players. We are still in the flat cap era. The only thing that has changed since they got signed is the prevailing prognostication of the rising cap is going to cover the pie in the sky rise in contract valuations, see Toronto's crazy contracts and now Petey's crazy contract. So in this flat cap era, can someone explain to me how Petey is worth more than Milsy, and Hronek is worth more than Hughes. I'm confused how that mentally ill assessment works. The only problem is the cap hasn't gone up yet and i am bettin it ain't going up like everyone thinks. Oh ya check the ticket prices, they already priced in Petey's insane contract and then some. Problem is they are not going to ice a team that is any good cuz there are some UFA's and RFA's are going bye bye's. Well at least we got the playoffs to look forward to this year. Next year? We will see who they can get signed for next year.

  6. The Canucks need a new owner!
Aqulini always lowballs his star players ! If you don’t believe me, then, ask Bo Horvat! The salary cap will be going up for years to come get it done already!

  7. Too much is too much. He will have to reconsider. Or play really well in the play off's to make other teams want him in the off season. Canucks are the winners here.

  8. If Pettersson wasn’t untouchable then neither is Hronek. He’s worth 7 mil per max, if he doesn’t want it then trade him.

  9. Trade him for Chychrun please 💯💯🙏🙏🙌🙌 He's not that great… Gets hit a lot and fumbles the puck a lot… He aint going to make more that our C sorry to say…

  10. you can't honestly thinking Sekeres and Price are legit sources right? like cmon legorocks99. Also its called its a negotiation. 6.5 for a top pairing dman? yea no he will get more. Not more than hughes though, but regardless he's a top pairing dman, and he's been doing it for the past 5 years.

  11. If you look at his stats he not a 8million dollar this is the only year he over 40 point I said he is about a 6.5 million dollar guy

  12. Hronek has been great playing with Hughes but I don't think he has played much without Hughes to show that he can anchor a defensive pairing that shows well at both ends of the rink. He is probably worth a lot given that he is RHD and has had a very good year. If he is willing to sign a reasonable contract to stay with this team that has a window now to contend for the next few years, great; if not, the Canucks should just seize this opportunity to trade him to get back as many draft picks, prospects, and current roster players as they possibly can.

  13. i wouldnt pay hronek more than 6m. hes had ONE stellar year playing with Hughes. He should atleast sign a bridge deal 6×3 first.

  14. It's just wrong if he is expecting a contract that excededs Quinn Hughes! There is risk in holding out for the most possible bucks .. Klingberg passed on a 7 X 7 million a few years ago .. and ends up he will be unemployed in a few months.

  15. They paid Tyler Myers 6 million and he was terrible and overpaid why not just pay Hronek the money and keep him. He’s actually worth it, we always suffer overpaying crap and we always suffer underpaying and losing good players. Break the cycle and start paying good players to stay.

  16. So my armchair canucks GM opinion. He is not worth more than quinn. He hasnt shown he can command his own pairing. This is why he is playing with hughes

  17. The canucks are going to have to pay up for this guy. He’s worth more than he’s being paid now,so he’s well within the realm of reasonable to demand more….but cap room is always the problem these days.
