Just like Glen Sather back in the 80s, The coach should put our checking line against the MacKinnon line and make Connor and Leon's line go to town on the Avs bottom 6. The coach needs to trust the checking line that they can do the job, and I believe they can. I think McLeod, Fogs and Brown would make an excellent checking line simply because of their speed. I think they can shutdown any top line in the league imo….Nevermind the "best on best" approach and playing them to a stalemate. I believe it would almost be a guarantee win if he did! Thats my opinion anyway. 😎
The Oil is currently tied for 6th most wins in the NHL. Given where they started, that is massive. Vancouver only has 42 wins with 3 more games played. This IS a good team that just had a terrible start.
