  1. Good job dressing such a pile of wussies Montreal lol. Sit Pez and Kovacavic for Harvey Pinard and the dopes hahahahha. Oh and LOL at sportsnet resorting to paid bots to pump their lame coverage ahahhahaha

  2. To all the people still doubting St-Louis's coaching skills. This is what the team look like without him behind the bench. I hope you guys will be more grateful in the future.

  3. What a great game for building confidence! Wolf stood on his head and the Calgang did a great job both creating opportunities for themselves AND taking advantage of the gaps in Montreal's defence

One very small moment that stood out for me was at 8:43, where Miromanov faked a slapshot to stop the MTL player from contesting the puck at distance; cool to see him get awarded with a goal for that little move

  4. Congrats to the Flames & especially Mikky Backlund on reaching the landmark 200th goal, nice to do it vs the Hab's, the Calgary public will love him for that!!

  5. The Flames are not really good, but the Canadiens are playing BAD!. Matheson is no longer desirable in this team, he lost because of his mistakes, two matches already!!!… For now, this is real!!!…

  6. Montreal was pathetic They looked like an AHL team. odds are against C;algary catching Vegas for the last wildcard spot. The Flames have played 1 more game and are 6 points back, Best you focus in the 4 year REBUID ahead of you.

  7. The team loses when they played well enough to win (and vice-versa). That penalty call on Slafkovsky was the key turning point. Other difference makers were bad penalty killing by the Habs and Dustin Wolf was really, really good. Overall, nothing to be ashamed about. The entire team have played better than the Flames tonight except for Matheson and Guhle. Quite successful on the PK over the past 6 matches, still not been good tonight killing penalties. The Oilers on Tuesday at Rogers Place. Start of the Western Canadian road trip.

  8. IDK if Wolf was a factor a couple posts early changes everything and some non elevated shots made it easy for him. Some glaring things stood out for me and too bad I had hoped for something different.
Joshua Roy does not have the foot speed to be effective he is imo a long time AHL'r and Harris is not good enough ok as an injury fill in but he doesn't have any HQ skills and is a bit slow with decisions better than Barron was but still a slow thinker.
RHP is a smart hockey player people tend to only look at goals and assists but when I watch RHP he makes few if any mistakes always good decisions.Caufield is not a first line player he struggled badly because when things don't go his way he gives up the puck steady he is very one dimensional.
The second goal was VERY typical of Slafkovsky he plays with blinkers on and only watches the puck and imo the only reason he even reacted on that second goal was because he heard the sound of skates going past him a guy he had right off the faceoff but then let him go and didn't pay attention defensively.
On a positive note I did saee a lot of good hockey from the Habs quite a few passes were connecting some lucky but still some good reads but I would like to see more shots and less cutesy passing.
RHP fought hard behind the net then went to the front of the net and they scored and Gallagher was doing the same getting to the net instead of standing still in the corners like Cole and Slaf do a lot.
That is Slaf's biggest concern in the offensive zone he stands still way too often but when he keeps his skates going he is more effective.

  9. To those that THINK Wolf is good Arber's shot from far out blew past him he wasn't even close to saving it but it hit the post.He did the usual goalie stuff go down often and hope pucks hit him.

  10. goal #3 calgary is goalie interference no???? bro had his ass on primeaus head, in the blue zone… i dont get that man
