Something new today! Ice hockey has always been one of my favourite sports. I love the dynamics, the pace, and the emotion. And of course, a good story. Over the past few years, I’ve really got into the NHL, following my favourite team Philadelphia Flyers. The previous seasons had been tough for the Flyers, but when the team finally found a new breath under a new coach, Alain Vigneault, one of the team’s rising stars, Oskar Lindblom, was diagnosed with rare bone cancer. But Oskar went into the battle and the team, known for its grit, as well. Suddenly, the Flyers have become one of the best teams in the NHL league.
This was one of the strongest stories that I’ve seen for a while and that’s why I’ve decided to make this video. Oskar Lindblom made his return to the ice just 9 months after the diagnosis. He came back early, just to help his team. That’s dedication. And despite the Flyers have lost the Stanley Cup battle, all the fans can be immensely proud of this team.
I’d like to dedicate this video to all Flyers fans, the great community that I’m now part of, and especially to the guys from my favourite podcast called ‘Pod Street Bullies’, Bobb and John, who are just so much fun to listen to. If you’re into hockey, definitely check their podcast. Also, big thanks to Jamey for help and Eric for endless hockey chats!

Outstanding work man, absolutely nailed your first ever NHL video, nobody comes close to matching your ability to invoke so much emotion with video editing. Well done man!!
