As an American I don’t like giving this title to a Canadian, but damm it’s hard to argue against it. Jordan was great and all, but he doesn’t dominate NBA’s statsheet the way Gretzky dominates the NHL’s.
EDIT: I’m on the NHL subreddit and I agree that Gretzky is North America’s greatest sportsman and I’m getting DOWNVOTED! Haha…wasn’t expecting that. You guys are great.

I love those pros vs joes type videos but if Gretzky in his prime went undercover to a beer league game … it wouldn’t even be funny it would kind of be sad
