In tonight’s post-game recap I discuss the Edmonton Oilers match against the Colorado Avalanche. Connor McDavid was held scoreless but the #oilers played a strong game and these two teams were highly entertaining to watch. Warren Foegele and Sam Carrick scored for Edmonton while Sean Walker scored twice for Colorado and Lehkonen potted the OT winner in what was an absolutely wild and entertaining affair between these two clubs. Their top guys were better than our top guys. That was the difference.
I still would say it was 3 to 3 because the other team’s player kicked Zack Hyman’s leg. He did not kick the puck on purpose
.5 seconds. No comment. Good game.
Got to play to the very end boys…
Incredible game! Skinner played amazing. The Canucks and Kings both lost in regulation, so the Oilers got a little closer to the Canucks and a little farther from the Kings. Although the amount is small.
Oo i agree with that when it comes with the Avs they can trip or have too many men amd the refs wont call them the refs pisses me off so much like do your fucking jobs its not hard
I still say it was 3 to 3 when because the other player from Colorado kicked Zach Hyman’s leg. He did not purposely kick the puck into the net. 😡
Depth came to play. Not the top line
Cant be mad w that that game was great! Oilers were more physically dominant thats forsure! Hymans goal100% was not a goal lol. Cmon guys you csn have biasbut not delusion ahaha
Avs fan here, that was an extremely even game the whole way through. Honestly most impressed by the goalies, they both were under fire and held up decently. Avs came up clutch in the end, could’ve easily gone the other way.
Both teams only got 1 power play
Great game by skinner all in all. McDavid was making plays but georgiev for some reason had his number, and pretty much the rest of the Oilers number too.
Lazy play by bouch in the last few seconds of overtime led to the goal. If he only met his man in the corner instead of backing off the play might've been delayed long enough to get it to a shootout. Where it belonged tbh.
Evan Bouchard was the guilty party on the winning goal. First star was Sean Walker. Grr
As soon as the avalanche scored I said to myself "no victory chain tonight"
goal in the last second of overtime? Show this goal to lazy Leon MANY times😜 The team must play all 60 minutes and ALL the time in OT😝
for this game McDavid has ( – 2 ), Draisaitl ( – 3 )😝= NOT GOOD performance by top players of Oilers !🤑
Good chess match. Bednar pulling a Houdini by getting Walker to jump in like his name is Makar. Hopefully Knoblauch figures out a good strategy against that speed coming in from the neutral zone. Even with that Kulak pinch on the first goal of the game, that probably was a set play that exploited that side of our ice and how we check their F1 at the blue line on the entry. If Vinny is out due to injury, i wonder if we could slot Broberg in and use his wheels in a similar way as Walker. Feels kind of like a best of 3 series the way we have to play them 3 times in such a short span of time. Cant wait for the next one.
its always on the refs aint it? yall just like the nucks, yall dont talk about the previous penalties not called. How about defend better instead of making excuses and not let a goal in, in the last seconds
